Three Songwriters Come Together...

Meeting online through the American Idol Songwriting Contest, songwriters Nancy Vogl, Jamie Southworth & Carrie Baird became friends first - then found even deeper reasons to connect: Creating and collaborating on a song to celebrate and honor Nancy’s step-granddaughter, Breanna Rose. More importantly, the song, On Perfect Wings was written to raise dollars to help Breanna and her family with their housing needs, as well as Breanna’s medical expenses. The result is a beautiful song certain to uplift, inspire and bring thousands of people together for a common cause.

Nancy Vogl
Nancy Vogl is an award-winning songwriter, award-winning author, and professional speaker. Her great joy is lifting the hearts of others through the power of expression. Whether it be a song, or the written and spoken word, Nancy believes in the impact a message can have on a life...for a day, for a lifetime, even for generations. Nancy divides her time between Traverse City, Michigan and Chicago, and is married to Breanna’s grandfather, David Strange. She is the proud mother and stepmother to ten children, and grandmother to eleven, which includes Breanna Rose.

Jamie Southworth
Making music has always come naturally for singer-songwriter, Jamie Southworth, who was born into a family of accomplished musicians. Jamie’s father worked with country music greats such as Barbara Mandrell, Mel Tillis and Patsy Cline, and her mother was a professional bass player. Jamie plays acoustic guitar and piano, wrote her first song at 16, and just released an amazing CD called Follow Your Bliss of original songs to benefit Kid Finder’s Network. With pure magic, Jamie lends her talent and voice to the song On Perfect Wings. She lives in Orlando, Florida, is married to David Southworth, and has five children.

Carrie Baird
If people can be described as “glue,” Carrie Baird is the biggest bottle of Elmer’s ever as Breanna’s Project would never have happened without her! On top of that, she couples her priceless heart of gold with a sense of humor that has even the toughest falling over with laughter. Carrie writes music, poetry, loves to cook...but not as much as she loves her family, which includes the love of her life, Lee, four children, and the newest light of her life, granddaughter Brooklyn. She’s a Texan girl, through and through, living in Henderson.
